1-Nenokkadine
The most awaited movie of the year starrs Mahesh Babu as a Rock Star along with debutant Kriti
Sanon .Sukumar's taking and 14 Reels high production values increase the expectations
on the movie. The Eros deal has re-confirmed the range this flick. One interesting point is
that Mahesh babu's son Gautham will make his debut on silver screen.
Nenokkadine is all set to create records this sankranthi.
Yevadu
After a series of postponements, this thriller from Ram Charan will be released worldwide for
Sankranthi, cashing in on the festive mood. Vamsi Paidipalli is directing this flick with
Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson as heroines. The film also starrs Allu Arjun and Kajal
Agarwal in cameo roles. The film is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Music for Yevadu is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda
This multi-starrer from the Manchu family starrs Collection King Mohan Babu along with his
son's Vishnu and Manoj.This movie has Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan and BVS Ravi writing
the script and four popular music directors are roped in to score the music. Catchy title, huge
star cast and talented script writers raises the expectations on the movie.
Legend
Balakrishna ,after a hiatus in the year 2013 has selected a powerful subject for his
comeback. Directed by Boyapati sreenu, who earlier delivered SIMHA to balakrishna has
once again come up with an action oriented movie with a political back drop. Produced by
14 Reels Entertainment and Sai Korrepati, this movie is slated for release before 2014 general elections.
Manam
It would be a treat to the eye ,to see the 3 generation of akkineni’s together on the silver
screen. This family -starrer has Shriya and Samantha paired opposite Nagarjuna and Naga
Chaitanya respectively.The movie is nearing completion and would be released in Feb –
March 2014.
Race Gurram
The combination of stylish star Allu Arjun and stylish director Surender Reddy is
creating enormous interest in the film industry. Kick Shyam and Saloni are playing
prominent roles and SS Thaman is composing the music for this film. Ravi Kishan, the
super star of Bhojpuri cinema is doing the antagonist's role in the film.The first look generated
good buzz and the movie is ready for release this summer.
Joru
This Jr NTR-starrer has Samantha playing the female lead again after sharing screen space
with the actor in 'Rammayya Vasthavayya'. Pranitha has been selected to play the second
female lead. Bellamkonda Suresh will be producing the film under the Sri Sai Ganesh
Productions banner and the movie would be released on March 28, 2013, the same day on which
Blockbuster 'Aadi' got released.
I
Ace filmmaker Shankar’s 'I' has Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead. 'I' will have the
music and background scores composed by A R Rahman, with P C Sriram taking care of
cinematography.The film makers are trying to get the movie released or tamil new year i,e
April 2014.
Anamika
Shekhar Kammula is known for introducing new comers to the telugu film industry but this
time he will be working with an experienced star cast.This is also the first time shekhar is
handling a remake which would be a new experience for him.This bi-lingual starring
Nayanatara would be getting ready for summer release.
Gabbar Singh 2
Sequel to 2012 block buster Gabbar Singh, this movie starrs Power Star Pawan Kalyan in
the lead role.Directed by 'Racha' fame Sampath Nandi,this action entertainer will be
produced by Sharath Marar, a friend of Pawan and CEO of NTV.The movie would be
released by the end of 2014.
Rudramadevi
Rudramadevi is Gunashekhar’s dream project based on Kakatiya dynasty.Rana plays
Chalukya Veerabhadrudu whereas the main character Rudrama Devi is being portrayed by
Anushka Shetty.This would be first historic 3D film in telugu.The shooting would be
completed by march and because of its extensive VFX effects ,the movie is slated to release by Oct 2014.
Varun Tej debut-GollaBhama
Another big entry from the mega family, Macho Varun Tej son of actor Nagababu makes
his debut this year. The film is being directed by Srikanth Addala, the man behind the mutil-
starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.The movie is producted by Tagore Madhu &
Nallamalupu Bujji. Mickey J Meyer scores the music for this movie. Varun Tej looks dashing
with good height,impressive looks and has all the mix to be the top hero in tollywood.
