'1 Nenokkadine" 7 years old Gautham | Mahesh Babu's Son's Role
'1 Nenokkadine" Film will be most special occasion event to Mahesh Babu for various reasons. The 'Prince Mahesh babu' Prince's Son is returning to silver screen after the massive successes of Businessman and Dookudu. But '1 Nenokkadine" is also special because it will mark the debut of his son, 7 years old Gautham.
When quizzed on how he zeroed in on Gautham to play the role of young Mahesh in the film, director Sukumar said it was purely by accident. Sukumar has auditioned many a young boy for the role, but wasn't satisfied with anyone. Then one day when he went to meet Mahesh in his place, his son, who was playing nearby suddenly fell. As soon as Sukumar got up to help, Mahesh intervened
. He strictly asked his son to stop acting like he is hurt. Sukumar realised then that Gautham had natural acting talent and thought of introducing the young boy through '1 Nenokkadine".
Sukumar adds that Gautham is an extremely bright and inquisitive child and just like Mahesh, would want to know about every scene. Speaking about another incident Sukumar said that once when he was trying to explain a scene to him, Gautham said, 'Avem Vaddu Uncle...Sad Scene Aa?..Happy Scene Aa? Adhi Cheppandi Chalu, Migilindhi Nenu Chusukunta'.
Pointing at the maturity of the seven year old, Sukumar said that even during dubbing when he approved of a scene, Gautham would insist on giving it another shot. Sukumar added that when he would be filming a scene with Mahesh Babu, and Gautham had no role, the latter would say 'Uncle...Naa role character Scenes Apude Ayepoyaya? Ledante Avanni Marokaritho Teesthunnara?'.
